Sri Ksetra Archaeological Museum

Sri Ksetra archaeological site museum located at Hmawza village, Pyay Township in westren part of Bago Division. Area of Museum in set up (4.628 acre). Museum has three exhibition halls. It was opened in 1961-1962 and extension halls were opened for public in 1982-1983 and 2001-2002. There are displaying in total 218 artifacts. In storage-room, there were deposited ner 400.

In Sriksetra Archaeological Museum, there rarely collecting the various objects, such as, stone burial urns with pyu inscription, stone relics chamber, tayerdevi figure, Bodhisattra relief, Orge handling with stick, Pyu Buddha images, Vishnu and Lakshmi stone relief, iron nail, iron post, pyu inscrption, brick of pyu symbol, terracotta votive tablets, buddha images, stone sculpture of dvaraphala and others objects, and displaying respectively. Among the three exhibition halls, there are divided into twenty-one show rooms. Three are nearly displaying 50 objects.
